The Owl Tree

Last Summer, this post from the blog "First Grade Glitter and Giggles" really inspired me! Her huge tree was exactly what I needed to make my Owl-themed classroom complete. Make sure you take a few minutes to follow the link and look at all of her amazing classroom makeover ideas.

Anyway, I did it! With a just a few staples, some blue painters tape, a bit of blue sticky putty, and of course some 3M command tabs, I got it to stay up on my wall. However, now that the school year has ended, last week I (very sadly) took my classroom tree down. Here's one more picture to keep it's memory alive...

It's time to start thinking about how I'm going to top it next year. After all -I'm going to have my same students and I know their expectations are high! :)
